Because Gustav wasn't the ratings bonanza everyone expected (few deaths, no broken levees) the media turned their attention immediately to Hanna. Now they are reporting that Hanna has caused damage to 80% of the island homes. But do they mention that virtually no one in Baton Rouge has power, or that the full grid will be restored only after 3-4 weeks after Gustav hit LA? Still no power, cable, internet and phone land line. Now they are telling us to conserve water because they are having problems with the citys water and sewer generators...oh boy. It can also be argued that it can be used to prove the existence of "perfect" anything and thereby it can lead to false conclusions. That argument in itself is faulty because by imagining a perfect island that can't exist, you immediately set up a false dichotomy that attempts to disprove the original argument.<BR/>The idea of a perfect human doesn't proceed from any singular idea of humanity, but rather the combination of many cultural mores that are rooted in basic human existence and survival.
